Coffee & Acne - Easy Like Sunday Morning

You may see a decrease in acne breakouts if you limit your iodine intake to the daily requirement. If you are a coffee drinker:

  1. Avoid dairy and soy
  2. Choose almond, coconut or hemp milk free of the thickening ingredient called carrageenan. Carrageenan is substance extracted from red and purple seaweeds, which are high in iodine. 
  3. Limit coffee intake to just one cup
  4. Consider herbal tea as a healthy alternative to coffee or as a healthy skin alternative
  5. Avoid or limit sugar
